Well, it's final, the Afghan cricket team will not be playing in the 2011 world cup, however, they did beat Scotland again today, and on Friday achieved ODI status for the first time in history. Congratulations to the team!!!

Good work by our team. We must be proud of their achievements with limited resources. It is important that we encourage their efforts and celebrate with pride. It doesn't matter wether you like cricket much or not. The point is to appriciate the effort of your countrymen. I don't really like taekwando but when Nikpai won the olympic bronze I was happy and prould of his effort.

Let's hope Afghanistan plays some good teams and progress further.
