Saeed Nafisi is the doyen of the Iranian literati and lynchpin of Iranian culture. He is one of the most accomplished Iranian scholars and authors.
His article SARZAMEEN-E- PAAKE NIYAAKAANE SARFARAZAM (The Pure Land Of My Glorious Ancestors), which he wrote in the honor of Tajik nation/Khorassan, is considered as a LOVE LETTER to the scattered Tajik nation; to the people of Kabul, Ghazna, Herat, Gardez, Laghman, Nangarhar, Samangan, Balkh, Farah, Bukhara, Samarqand, Khujand, Termez and.......
I'm writing the article in here and translating it in English, for the benefit of our nation, hoping that this wonderful peice of writing will inspire our nation to more great things in the future.
This very poignant and touching article is another proof that we may be divided by arbitery political borders, but we remain united in our ONE culture, language and history.
THE PURE LAND OF MY GLORIOUS ANCESTORS!
By Saeed Nafisi

Dear imprudent WATANWAL from Panjshir:
First ,which SARZAMEEN are you talking about?
Perhaps TAJIKISTAN or Mongolia!!!
Second , you cannot fool people with your name, because most of Panjshiri are sticking to Kabulis identity and never admit about their Panjshiri identity???!!!
I am carious why?
Thirdly , the so-called Iranian writer is Saeed and sayed ceme in Great Arian after the Arab invasion and they are not the native of Arian-Khurasan-Afghanistan and Iran at all. They have settled in this cradle of world civilization.
Our land is not the PURE LAND OF his “GLORIOUS”???!!! ANCESTORS and His ancestors are Arabs and Ibrahimc.
Fourthly,
Khurasan was the land of the Arians NOT TAJIKS, because in that time TAJIKS were living in Magnolia/China and Korea.
My advise to you:
Do not hide behind Khurasani name, because you are NOT one of them and you know that!!!!
Do not make fool out of yourself because you cannot fool no ones just a few GHOULAMS like yourself.
Have a nice Talkhan day!

It'll take long time to type all of it in Farsi...so I'll quickly translate the paragraph to readers....
I don't know Farsi language is this much sweet or every other languages of world, for those who speak it, have this same sweetness and wholesome feel to it. Anyway, whenever I see a newly published/printed Farsi book, I feel the same amount of delight and special happiness.
But this joy is double the amount if the book is about history of ancient Iran; just like someone who would naturally feel pride with the mention of his forefather’s achievement. If there is a book with all these benefits from outside of today’s Iran, then it has some other specialities.
Located in north-west of today’s Iran is a very fertile and arable land that we have a very special attachment and affection for. A lot of great scholars are of the believe that the Iranian people had passed the initial days of their lives in that land, at the extends of Hindu Kush mountain ranges and at the sides Jaihun and Saihun rivers.
Heavenly book of ancient Iran, Awestaa, shows us a country whose climate and weather was the best of the world, and our forbearers were first nourished and nurtured in that land. And, accordingly, we can find that the intention is none other than, the Promised Land of Iranians, this very fascinating territory/country, on the banks of river Jaihun and Saihun, today’s Tajikistan.
At the times, as far as the ancient history and mythology can remember, the name of this land was recalled and different regions were centres of Peshdadid and Kiyanid dynasties. At the time of Achaemenids and after it at the age of Sassaanids, this area was still one of the most cultivated, habitable and populous regions of Iran. Provinces of Bacteriana and Soghdiana were part of this two great period of ancient Iran.
After the acceptance of Islam, Khwarezm, Fara-rood and Khorassan were the most cultivated, habitable and populous and most renowned and known provinces of Central Asia. In third and fourth centuries, two great dynasties of greater Iran, Safaarids and Samanids, sprung up in these regions and this great ancient land broke the backbone of Baghdad Caliphate.
From that day for the period of six hundred years until the middle of ninth century, this great land of magnificence, Tajikistan, has nurtured the biggest poets of Iran. Rudaki Samarqandi, the forerunner of this series and Jaami Herawi, the last great man of this great family are good examples.
Poets of Tajikistan have composed the most famous of Persian poems. Great and built cities of this land, which are some of the most ancient of Iranian cities, cities such as Bukhara, Samarqand, Balkh, Kabul…..have always been the most civilized, cultured and great centres of learning of Iran.

No doubt our forefathers tongue DARI PARSI is sweeter the sugar and honey, but Iran name was Persia 100 years ago and Afghanistan called Iran.
We Arian Kabuli speaks our language with beauty but YOU Panjshiris with your dirty accent and local dialogs giving bad image to our language.
Have a nice Palakhman night Panjshir Talkhan>

Gaymonkey,
Go back to your Kashmiri homeland, and stop pretending to be Kabuli or "Aryan"
